24th & 25th October – Two-day Block Printing Masterclass

Join us in the studio on our smallholding and immerse yourself in two whole days of block printing fun!

This two-day masterclass combines our Random Pattern and Borders & Repeats workshops, with plenty of time to practise and develop your own project designs.

We’ll cover:

• Basic block printing skills on both fabric and paper/card
• Random pattern design, including colour choices and different spacing techniques
• How to create different repeat patterns and borders

You’ll print a selection of items each day, choosing from our wide range of blanks, such as:

• tea towels
• tote bags
• cushion covers
• scarves
• aprons
• …and more!

What you create is very much up to you, though we will help and guide you to make the most of your time. Whether you want to kit out your kitchen with a set of new tea towels, revamp a bedroom with new cushions and lampshades, or print a stash of gifts for family and friends – you’re guaranteed to go away with a selection of hand-printed goodies you can be proud of.

Plus, you’ll have learned lots of new skills should you wish to keep printing at home, or in our studio sessions in future.

This workshop is suitable for beginners as we’ll cover the basic techniques, and is a great way to learn a lot in a short space of time. It will also suit more experienced block printers looking to improve their skills. With numbers limited to just 4 spaces, Lisa will be able to tailor sessions to your interests, spending time with you on the techniques you really want to master.

Of course, there will be plenty of tea and cake, too!
